2011-10

The AGM of PRSA(SA) will be on Friday 18 November 2011 at 7.45 pm at 9 Rosemont Street, Norwood (088332 6660). Visitors are welcome. Guest Speaker will be Nick Minchin, who as a South Australian Senator from 1993 to 201l was a Federal Minister and Leader of the Government in the Senate.  Nick will not only speak about his time in the Senate and in Government, but specifically on his views on electoral systems. In particular we have asked him to talk about the election he organized for electing the delegates for the 1998 Constitutional Convention on a Republic where proportional representation was used as well as this election being entirely by postal voting and with voluntary voting.
